Maintenance · July 20, 2026
Lucknow's climate — hot, dusty summers followed by a humid monsoon — affects solar panel performance in different ways through the year. A little regular maintenance goes a long way toward protecting your generation output and your PM Surya Ghar investment.
1. Clean panels every 2–3 weeks during dry months. Dust buildup can reduce output noticeably; a simple water rinse in the early morning or evening (never on hot panels) restores most of the lost generation.
2. Check for shading changes. Trees grow and new construction happens — revisit whether anything now casts shadow on your panels during peak sun hours.
3. Inspect wiring and connections before monsoon. Loose connections are more likely to cause issues once humidity rises.
4. Monitor your generation numbers. A sudden, unexplained drop is often the first sign of a fault worth investigating.
5. Get an annual professional inspection. Our AMC plans cover exactly this — scheduled cleaning, electrical checks, and performance monitoring, so small issues get caught before they affect your savings.
